Santa Came!!!

Santa Came to our house last night!!! I actually had to wake the kids up at 8:30 to see wht Santa brought!!! My kids were probably the only ones around still asleep. (They take after their momma - they like their sleep!!!). Santa brought Caylee and Baby Alive, Hannah Montana, a few other goodies. He brought Will The BatCave, some Hotwheels tracks, & a tool bench. I guess Santa thought they had been pretty good this year. Merry Christmas to all!!! I heop Santa was good to each and everyone of you!!

Zoo lights

On Monday night Mom, Dad, Jamie and I took the kids to Zoo lights. It was GREAT (and COLD!!!). This is our 2nd year going. We take a carriage ride, get hotchocolate, and look at all the lights. We even saw Santa's reindeer. We ALL had a wonderful time.

The Standards

For those of you that teach in the Tipton County school system, you know who these guys are. For the rest of you, they are an AWESOME singing group. They are coming to the Ruffin on December 23 for a Christmas concert. I bought their Christmas CD when they performed at BMS earlier this year. It is one of the BEST Christmas CD's I have ever heard. It also tells a story of a homeless boy that they meet along the way. It is the story of them teaching him the TRUE meaning of Christmas. The concert will include the story. Visit www.thestandards.com for more information. I am sure you will not be disappointed!!!

These girls have been dancing together for several years and really enjoy it. It is so much fun watching these young girls doing something they really love. Way to go girls!!!

ICE!

This weekend I went to Nashville to Christmas shop with my mom, Aunt Cindy, Dan, Robert & Beau. We had a great time and did ALOT of shopping!!!! Jamie brought the kids to meet us Saturday night. We went to ICE! and to the Opryland hotel to see the lights. ICE! was WONDEFUL!!! (Even though it is only 9 degrees inside the place). Of course, I left my camera in the hotel room. Caylee enjoyed sliding down the slides made of ice. I had to push Will down the slide (he was not too happy with me after that!!).

We had a wonderful time. However, I am glad to be back in Brighton and at work (getting more rest than I got this weekend).

Halloween

We had a great time trick -r - treating Friday night. My parents came over and set-up a graveyard in the yard. We had TONS of visitors. I do not know who had more fun, the kids or dad. Dad dressed as a scary old man. He loved scaring all the kids that came up.
